American Jordan Stolz breaks men's 1000 metres world record in Speed Skating

- American speed skater Jordan Stolz broke the men's 1,000 metres world record on Friday at the ISU World Cup event in Salt Lake City.

The 19-year-old Stolz won his race in one minute 5.37 seconds to improve on the previous mark of 1:05.69 set by Russia's Pavel Kulizhnikov at the same venue in 2020.
