WNBA’s Atlanta Dream Announce 2026 Season Schedule, Dream kick-off season at Minnesota Lynx.

The Atlanta Dream are set for an exciting 2026 WNBA season, their 20th in the league, with 44 games featuring high-profile matchups, expansion team clashes, and a full Commissioner’s Cup slate.Season Opener  Saturday, May 10 | @ Minnesota Lynx | (time TBA)

Location: Target Center, Minneapolis

Notes: The Dream open on the road against a perennial contender, marking the start of their season amid the WNBA’s 30th anniversary year.

Home Opener  Sunday, May 17 | vs Las Vegas Aces | (time TBA)

Location: Gateway Center Arena, College Park

Notes: Atlanta welcomes the defending champions (or top contender) for their first home game, setting the tone for a strong season at home.

Early Season Notes  Road-heavy start with three straight away games (May 10 @ Minnesota, May 12 @ Dallas, then home opener May 17 vs Las Vegas).  

Early home stand includes Dallas Wings (May 22), Phoenix Mercury (May 24), and Connecticut Sun (June 2 – Commissioner's Cup).  

Three games vs Minnesota Lynx (May 10, May 27, Aug 30) and Dallas Wings (May 12, May 22, July 29) highlighted as “high-profile” rivalries.  

Expansion matchups: vs Portland Fire (May 29 away, July 11 home, Aug 28 home) and Toronto Tempo (June 14 away, June 22 home, Aug 10 home).

Season Context  Full 44-game schedule (22 home, 22 away).  

League break: Aug 31 – Sep 16 for FIBA Women’s World Cup in Berlin.  

All-Star Weekend: July 23–25 in Chicago.
