The NFL is back for Week 13 and the dawn of December means the playoff race is heating up. There are six weeks remaining in the regular season, and the first playoff clinching scenario has arrived. The Eagles can claim the first playoff berth with win and a Rams loss or tie. They could also claim a playoff berth with a win and a Lions loss and Packers loss or tie.
The clinching scenarios will increase in coming weeks, but in the meantime, we’re back with straight-up picks for Week 13 of the regular season. We pick each game’s winner, and then slot the picks based on confidence levels — high, medium, low, and no. A game with three asterisks (***) after it indicates a game where I’m picking the betting underdog to get the win.
Last week was not a great one for me. I was 9-7 overall with my best work coming thanks to all four high confidence picks hitting. I was 4-3 on medium confidence, 1-1 on low confidence, and 0-3 on no confidence.
