New York City Marathon 2024: Results from Men’s, Women’s, Wheelchair race, Full winners list






It is one the Best Marathon race in United States, returns to the America HUB, From the Verrazzano Bridge to Central Park, New York, NY City.

The New York City marathon is the biggest since the start of the pandemic with more than 50,000 runners from 150 countries, as the New York City is gearing up to welcome 50,000 runners for the TCS Marathon this Sunday.


- The 2024 TCS NYC Marathon is Sunday, Nov. 3, kicking off on Staten Island at 8 a.m. The iconic event is now in its 53rd edition.

The ceremonial painting of the lines at the end of the 26.2 mile route took place Wednesday at Central Park, Manhattan, NY.


On Staten Island, participants will gather at the Fort Wadsworth staging area, and runners will cross the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge into Brooklyn to begin the 26.2-mile journey that spans all five boroughs.



The 2024 New York City Marathon was another classic edition of one of the world's most prestigious marathons. Sheila Chepkirui collected the win in the women's race. She outkicked Hellen Obiri to win the 2024 New York City Marathon.

Who won the last NYC race, New York City Marathon 2023 Winners




Tamirat Tola of Ethiopia won the New York City Marathon men's race in 2 hours, 4 minutes and 58 seconds, breaking the all-time record. Albert Korir of Kenya finished as the runner-up at 2:06:57. Shura Kitata of Ethiopia came in 3rd place at 2:07:11. 

Hellen Obiri of Kenya won the women's race, clocking in at 2:27:23. Letesenbet Gidey of Ethiopia was the runner-up, with a time of 2:27:29. Sharon Lokedi of Kenya finished in 3rd place at 2:27:33. 


Marcel Hug of Switzerland won the men's wheelchair race, finishing in 1 hour, 25 minutes and 29 seconds. Daniel Romanchuk of the U.S. was the runner-up with a time of 1:30:07. Jetze Plat of the Netherlands finished in 3rd place with a time of 1:34:22. 

Catherine Debrunner of Switzerland won the women's wheelchair race with a total time of 1:39:32. Manuela Schär of Switzerland was the runner-up at 1:47:54. Susannah Scaroni of the U.S. finished in 3rd place at 1:48:14.
