The Genesis Scottish Open, which is not a designated event, will be held July 13-16 at The Renaissance Club, Scotland.

The Scottish Open has been around for many years, but this is the second year Genesis has been the title sponsor and fifth year Renaissance Club has hosted.

The course will play to a par 70 and a maximum yardage of 7,237 yards... Renaissance has a tricky start while the finish is a classic mix of an easy par 5 followed by a demanding par 3 and a long par 4.

Many top players will be teeing it up in preparation for next week’s Open Championship, including defending champion Xander Schauffele.
