The 125th U.S. Open is upon us, and it's set to take place at the iconic No. 2 course at Oakmont Country Club, a venue steeped in golfing history. The tournament will kick off on Thursday, June 12 and wrap up on Sunday, June 15.

Prepare for a thrilling showdown as 156 top-notch golfers, including the current World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and Masters Champion Rory Mcilory, vie for the coveted title. Scheffler, the current favorite, is sure to set the course ablaze during the tournament's week.

It is also the first major tournament since the PGA Tour, DP World Tour, and the Saudi-backed LIV Golf announced a partnership, and it is sure to be a topic of conversation throughout the weekend.

One of the more intriguing storylines is the groupings, one of which features PGA Championship winner and LIV golfer Brooks Koepka with Rory McIlroy, who has been one of the most vocal critics of LIV.
