The 24 Hours of Le Mans is back in 2026 for the 94th running of the world’s most famous endurance race. Motorsport fans will once again descend on the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe in France for this epic event, which takes place from 10–14 June 2026 as the third round of the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship.
The race first ran in 1923 and has now been held 93 times. A strong 62-car field will compete, featuring 18 entries in the top Hypercar class. Eight manufacturers are battling for overall honours, with Ferrari looking to extend its recent dominance after winning the last three editions. What is the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2026 schedule, start-times?
The build-up begins on Wednesday 10 June with free practice and initial qualifying sessions.
Wednesday 10 June
Free Practice 1 runs from 14:00 to 17:00 CEST.
This is followed by Qualifying for LMP2 and LMGT3 at 18:45, then Hypercar Qualifying at 19:30.
Free Practice 2 takes place from 22:00 into the night.
Thursday 11 June
Free Practice 3 is scheduled for 14:45.
The two-part Hyperpole sessions then decide the grid: LMP2 & LMGT3 Hyperpole starts at 20:00, followed by Hypercar Hyperpole from 21:05.
Night-time Free Practice 4 concludes the day at 23:00.
Friday 12 June
A quieter day with the ACO Press Conference and Drivers’ Parade. No track sessions.
Saturday 13 June
Warm-up begins at 12:00.
The 24 Hours of Le Mans race itself starts at 16:00 CEST (4:00 PM local time).
Sunday 14 June
The race finishes at 16:00 CEST, exactly 24 hours after the start.
