The 2023 Club World Cup will take place in Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah for the first time.
The 2022 FIFA Club World Cup may have technically taken place in 2023 but the 19th edition of the global champions get underway until the end of the year that will take place in Saudi Arabian city for the first time.
What is the FIFA Club World Cup
The FIFA Club World Cup sees seven teams competing to be champions, with the winners of the leading competition in each of the six populated continents and the host nation’s national champions participating in a straight knock-out tournament.
The host nation’s champions face the Oceania representatives for the right to join the Asia, Africa and North America champions in the quarter-finals.
The European and South American champions join the tournament at the semi-final stage.
This will be the last seven-team Club World Cup before the tournament is expanded to 32 teams in 2025.
When & Where is the FIFA Club World Cup?
The 19th edition of FIFA CWC will take place between Tuesday, December 12 and Friday, December 22.
The tournament which will be held in the city Saudi Arabia, Jaddah for the first time.
United Arab Emirates hosted on five occasions, Morocco three times and Qatar twice since the inaugural tournament was hosted in Brazil back in 2000.

After beating Liverpool to lift the Champions League last year, Real Madrid drawn in Semi-finals against Egyptian side Al Ahly & easily defeated them for 4-1 for the Final.
The final proved to be another entertaining affair and ultimately ended 5-3 to Real Madrid, with the Spanish side lifting the title for a record fifth time.
