15-Year-Old, Teen Isabeau Levito Wins 2023 U.S. Women's Figure Skating Championship.

The 15-year-old fascinated with a near-flawless freeskate, outskating 2018 Olympic figure skating team bronze medalist Bradie Tennell, 24, to win her first national title at the United States Figure Skating Championships in San Jose, California.

According to the outlet, Levito led the pack of competitors from the start. She edged Tennell by 0.2 points in the short programme before pulling out all the stops in the free skate, including seven triple jumps, to extend her lead over the Olympic medalist to at least 10 points.

Levito finished the competition with a score of 223.33, while Tennell, a two-time US champion, won the silver medal with 213.12 points. Amber Glenn, the 2022 Skate America bronze medalist, finished third with 207.44 points.

Levito, Tennell and Glenn will now move on to compete on the international stage in the World Championships in Japan in March —
