Expert Picks

J.J. Spaun (+1200):

Highest-ranked player in the field (OWGR No. 6). Ranks No. 5 in SG: Approach, No. 7 in SG: Total, and No. 38 in SG: Off-the-Tee. Not a great putter but consistent overall.

Rico Hoey (+2200):

Coming off a runner-up finish at the Bank of Utah Championship and has three top-10s in his last four events. Ranks No. 2 in SG: Off-the-Tee and No. 8 in SG: Approach.

→ Top-20 finish (+110) recommended.

Thorbjorn Olesen (+2800):

Playing his 100th PGA Tour event (0 wins, 9 international victories). Strong SG: Total (16th) and SG: Putting (21st), accurate and consistent ball striker.

Contenders

Matt Kuchar (+4500):

At 47, still competitive. Finished T-30 at El Cardonal last year (12-under 276) and ranks 14th in SG: Putting.

→ Top-20 finish (+200) offers good value.

Austin Eckroat (+5500):

Defending champ, No. 27 in Driving Accuracy (65.39%). Weaker in putting (122nd in SG: Putting), but proven winner here.

→ Top-40 finish (-125) is a safer bet.

Beau Hossler (+8000):

Excellent short game: 35th in SG: Putting, 6th in SG: Around-the-Green, and 1st in Scrambling inside 10 yards (83/84 success rate).

Long Shot

Joel Dahmen (+15000):

Finished T-14 last year (15-under 273). Currently 109th in the FedEx Cup Fall Series, fighting to stay in the top 100 for 2026 status.

→ Top-40 finish (+150) is appealing value.
