MiamiGP new & Imola in, China out as F1 revealed biggest 2022 scheduled Calendar with Record 23-races.
Formula 1 has revealed its biggest ever calendar for 2022, but the 23-race schedule does not include the Chinese Grand Prix.
Starting in Bahrain in March and ending in Abu Dhabi in November with an earliest finish in over a decade, 23 rounds are planned for the first year of F1's revolutionary new generation of cars,
Grands Prix in Australia, Canada, Singapore and Japan are all set to return to the sport after missing out in the past two seasons, although China does not feature on the new schedule.
Instead, it has been replaced by the Emilia Romagna GP at Imola for 2021's fourth race while there is also no slot for Portugal or Turkey.
Imola hosts the first European race of the season, retaining the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix title, before the first race in Miami – one of two contests in the USA.
There is though one new name on the calendar for 2022, the Miami GP in May - with America hosting two races on the calendar for the first time since 1984 on The first-ever Miami Grand Prix will take place on a 3.36-mile street circuit around the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

2022 Formula 1 New Car launching dates, Images, photos.
With pre-season testing starting on 23-25 February all teams will need to launch before those dates. As a rough guide, in 2021 McLaren was the first team to unveil its new car on 15 February with AlphaTauri and Alfa Romeo following suit on the 19 and 22 February respectively.

When is F1 pre-season testing?
Pre-season testing is expected to take place at two venues,
F1 is splitting its two pre-season tests between Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and the Bahrain International Circuit, with each venue hosting a three-day test to add up to six full days of pre-season testing before the start of the season.
This will be the first opportunity to see the 2022 cars in action, although teams will naturally keep their cards close to their chest.
