Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and fiancee Brittany Matthews confirmed the birth of their daughter.

Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes and the fiancée Brittany Matthews revealed the birth of their first child on their Instagram accounts.

Sterling Skye Mahomes was born on Saturday and weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces. Every couple shared a picture of their daughter holding Matthews' finger as she wore a "Sterling'" necklace.

In the week before Super Bowl 55 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Mohammed had told reporters that the due date was "coming up pretty quickly."

The pair became engaged on Sept. 1, 2020, the same day the Chiefs earned their Super Bowl 54 rings. Mohammeds proposed to Matthews in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium.

Four weeks later, they confirmed that Matthews was pregnant while carrying an ultrasound shot. About a month later, they revealed on a gender basis that they had a girl.
