Snooker Pro Series 2020–New Format announced schedule dates, groups stage draw, prize money.



In January, the latest WST Pro Series of Snooker will take place with a revamped format and prize money total of £420,500.

 The groundbreaking world ranking championship will take place for the first time in 2021, with 128 players playing for the inaugural title MK Arena in Milton Keynes.

Snooker Pro Series 2021–Format, How it works & schedule dates.


 For the initial round-robin phase, players are divided into 16 groups of eight. All matches are best of three frames, and the top two in each group will advance to the second stage of the group.


 In the second step, 32 players will be divided into four groups of eight. The top two of each category will move forward again.

 The player who reaches the top of the final group of eight players will be awarded champions title.


In the initial group phase, one player from each seeding pool (1-16, 17-32, 33-48, 49-64, 65-80, 81-96, 97-112, 113-128), based on the current official world rankings, will be drawn into each group. 



January 18-25: Groups one to eight

March 9-16: Groups nine to 16

March 17-20: Second group stage

March 21: Final group
