 The opening round of fixtures will take place on the weekend of 12 September. However, Manchester City v Aston Villa and Burnley v Manchester United will be rearranged.

11 - This will be the 11th time Spurs and Everton have met on MD1 of a top-flight season – three times more than any other fixture in top-flight history.

6 - Liverpool have won six of their last seven games on the Premier League's opening day (D1), scoring 15 goals in their four under Jurgen Klopp (W3 D1).

5 - Fulham have lost each of their last five Premier League matches against Arsenal, conceding nine goals in their two defeats against the Gunners the last time they were in the top-flight in 2018/19 (1-5 home, 1-4 away).

When will the 2020-21 Premier league Starts, Key dates of the Season?




 The Premier League season will start on the weekend of Saturday September 12. This means the new season will commence just six weeks after the 2019/20 campaign finished.


 The  final league seasonal fixtures will finish on Sunday May 23, 2021 which is 19 days before the rescheduled Euro 2020 gets underway & also  - eight days after the FA Cup final.



The Champions League final is on 29 May, with the delayed Euro 2020 starting on 11 June.
