Carabao Cup Draw 2019-20: Schedule of Dates for Semi-Finals Fixtures, kick-off times, Results.




EFL Cup holders Manchester City will play rivals Manchester United often known as " Manchester Derby" in the 2019-20 Carabao Cup semi-finals draw, while Leicester City taking on Aston Villa.


Both clashes in the EFL Cup Semi finals are very tough and strong in English football.
 A Manchester derby and a clash of the Midlands take place in the last four after Wednesday's action.

First leg to be played Jan. 7 and 8. Second leg to be played Jan. 28 and 29.

Holders City swept past Oxford United 3-1 on the road, and United cantered to a 3-0 victory on Wednesday over Colchester United at Old Trafford. 

There was drama at Goodison Park as Leicester advanced 4-2 on penalties after a 2-2 draw against Everton.
 Aston Villa eliminated Liverpool 5-0 on Tuesday, with the Reds forced to field a second-string due to their FIFA World Club Cup commitments.

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City have won the tournament in each of the last two seasons and four times in the last six years, while the Leicester City, who won the competition in 1999-2000...

1st Leg Tuesday 7 January: 


  • It was Bernardo who broke the deadlock, with a superb strike from the edge of the box that arrowed into the top corner of the net.
  • Riyad Mahrez made it 2-0 when he ran on to Bernardo's pass and rounded David de Gea, with the home side hopelessly exposed.
  • United were still chasing the target and it was soon 3-0, as a swift breakaway ended with De Bruyne twisting Phil Jones inside out before seeing his shot saved by De Gea but ricochet in off Andreas Pereira.
  •  Marcus Rashford's late reply will give United hope they can still turn this tie around in the return, BUT untill THEN Holders Manchester City will take a commanding lead into the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final after outclassing neighbours Manchester United at Old Trafford.
