Warner bats, Aussies forcefully whitewashed Pakistan 2-0

Australia beat Pakistan 2-0 whitewashed at home series 2019.




Mohammad Rizwan on 45 before Mohammad Abbas's run-out sealed a victory by an innings and 48 runs for the hosts. Australia also completed a 2-0 whitewash over Pakistan as a result of this breakthrough win.

 This Aussies victory goes to Nathan Lyon on the final day. The Australia offspinner picked all the five wickets to fall across the first two sessions in Adelaide on the fourth day of the Test.



 Australia scored 589-3 declared - with David Warner smashing 335 not out - in their first innings and made Pakistan follow on after they hit 302 in reply.




Host Australia beat Pakistan with 2-0 series whitewashed at home 2019.



 Pakistan restarted on 39-3 on day four and was bowled out for 239 - Shan Massod was the top scorer with 68.
Spinner Nathan Lyon for Australia as he took 5-69 in Pakistan's second innings in Adelaide.

It was a second consecutive innings win for the hosts after their victory in Brisbane in the first Test.


 David Warner was named both Player of the Match and Player of the series for his 489 runs across two games, the run tally including his magnificent 335* in the game.
