Luke Littler Win First World Grand Prix 2025 Title, Full Results, Prize Money

Luke Littler Defeats Humphries 6–1 to Win First 2025 World Grand Prix Title, Full Schedule, Results, Prize Money

World champion Luke Littler produced a clinical display to beat world number one Luke Humphries 6–1 in Leicester, claiming his first World Grand Prix crown.

The 18-year-old, who lost in the first round on debut last year, showed maturity and precision throughout the tournament. Despite having a lower average than Humphries in the final, Littler was ruthless in key moments, winning five of his six sets in final-leg deciders to secure the £120,000 top prize.

The victory marks Littler’s seventh televised PDC major title, placing him joint-seventh on the all-time list. He has also narrowed the gap to Humphries at the top of the PDC Order of Merit to just over £70,000, as both players chase the world number one spot ahead of December’s World Championship.

“I’m very happy to tick this one off — it’s not the easiest tournament to win,” Littler told Sky Sports. “There aren’t many left now.”

Humphries admitted he must raise his level to keep pace.

“If I don’t improve, he’ll run away with everything. I need to dedicate everything to being better,” he said.

In the final, Littler overcame a slow start before finding rhythm, taking the opening set after trading early breaks. He then powered through, winning sets two to four with strong finishing and near-perfect composure. Humphries briefly rallied with a 154 checkout to claim set five, but Littler closed out the match by taking the next two sets.

Humphries actually averaged 93.61 to Littler’s 92.15, hitting more 100+ scores and 180s, but failed to convert key chances.

Two years ago, Humphries lifted this title for his first major while Littler didn’t yet hold a tour card. Since then, the duo have dominated — winning 15 of the last 21 major trophies between them.
