NBA Finals 2019: Toronto Raptors beat Golden State Warriors to win first title.





The Canadian side Toronto Raptors defeat defending champions the Golden State Warriors 114-110 to win their first ever NBA title in history.


In Gane 6 if NBA Finals, Raptors won the best of 4-2 series over Warriors, while the Raptors Kawhi Leonard won the NBA Finals most valuable player of the season with average 28.5 points

 The Toronto Raptors made their NBA Finals debut in the 24th season. is the first Canadian club team to win a major North American sports title since the Toronto Blue Jays captured Major League Baseball's World Series in 1993.


 The Golden State Warriors are the Three-time NBA Finals Champions out of four times appeared in the Finals, were without injured Kevin Durant and lost Klay Thompson to a knee injury in the third quarter.


 Kawhi Leonard, the All-Star forward Toronto acquired last summer from San Antonio, was named Finals MVP for the second time. Leonard is the third player to win the award with more than one franchise, along with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and LeBron James.


 It was the last ever game for the Warriors at Oracle Arena, 47 years after its opening as the Oakland Coliseum. The team will move next season to the Chase Center in San Francisco.
