The West Indies will play in a one-day international tri-series in Ireland, also involving Bangladesh in a Tri-Nation series, to be played in Clontarf and Malahide Next Summer, in May, 2019.

Ireland and the Windies last met in March 2018 during the World Cup qualifiers in Zimbabwe.

The Windies have now been confirmed as the fifth team to tour Ireland in 2019, in an international men’s schedule of 16 fixtures to be played in Malahide, Clontarf, Bready, and Stormont. The other teams that will travel to Ireland in 2019 are England, Afghanistan, and Zimbabwe.

"In all, we will be hosting eight matches in Dublin and eight matches across Northern Ireland. The venues have been chosen to spread the fixture load across our four International-rated grounds - with five matches at Malahide, three at Clontarf, five at Stormont and three at Bready.

The West Indies have been confirmed to play in Ireland next summer and will take part in a one-day international tri-series with Ireland and Bangladesh.

The first match against the West Indies will take place on 5 May at Clontarf, just two days after the highly anticipated one-day international against England, which takes place in Malahide on 3 May.

Ireland will then play the West Indies again on 11 May in Malahide, with two games against Bangladesh either side of that match (9 & 15 May).

The top two sides in the ODI tri-series will then play the final on 17 May.

Zimbabwe and Afghanistan are the other two top-tier sides scheduled to play next summer as Ireland play two ODIs against the Asian side before taking on the Chevrons in three ODIs and three T20 Internationals.

Ireland's Biggest match next summer will be played at the home of cricket, Lord's, where England host the first ever Test match between the two nations.
