Brief History of European Football Championship (Euro).


  • UEFA European football championship commonly known as Euros. It is the main football competition by the national teams of UEFA.
  • It is held every 4 years since inaugurated in 1960.
  • The first name of this competition is UEFA Championship nation's cup & altered in 1968.

  • Most titles of UEFA European football championship (Euro) are Germany, Spain having won the 3 times champions, & on 2nd position is France won the title 2 times. Current Champion of  UEFA European football championship Euro 2016 winners is Portugal national Team.
