18 Teams Qualify for 2027 FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Cup | Full List of Qualified Nations
The field for the 2027 FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Cup is beginning to take shape, with 18 of the 32 teams now confirmed following the completion of all five continental qualifying events.
Defending champions Italy and co-hosts Canada and the United States were among the first teams to secure their places.
The other qualified nations are Argentina, Brazil, Cameroon, China, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Japan, Kenya, Poland, Puerto Rico, Serbia, Thailand and Türkiye.

The first three places in the 2027 FIVB Women's Volleyball World Cup were reserved for:
Italy – 2025 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship winners
Canada – co-hosts
United States – co-hosts
NORCECA Qualifiers
Cuba and the Dominican Republic secured qualification by reaching the semifinals of the 2026 NORCECA Women's Volleyball Continental Championship in Santo Domingo.
Canada and the United States were also among the semifinalists as co-hosts.
Cuba finished third and the Dominican Republic finished fourth. Puerto Rico, which placed fifth, claimed the third NORCECA qualification spot.
AVC Qualifiers
Thailand and China reached the final of the 2026 AVC Women's Volleyball Asian Championship in Tianjin, China.
Thailand won the continental championship, while China took the silver medal. Japan claimed bronze and secured Asia's third World Cup berth.
CAVB Qualifiers
Egypt and Kenya reached the final of the 2026 CAVB Women's Volleyball African Nations Championship in Nairobi.
Egypt won the gold medal, while host nation Kenya finished second. Cameroon took bronze and secured Africa's third qualification place.
CEV Qualifiers
Serbia, Poland and Türkiye secured Europe's three qualification places by reaching the semifinals of the 2026 CEV Women's Volleyball European Championship.
Italy was already qualified as defending champion.
Türkiye, Italy and Serbia finished on the EuroVolley podium in Istanbul, while Poland also secured a World Cup place through the continental qualification process.
CSV Qualifiers
Brazil, Argentina and Colombia claimed South America's three World Cup places at the 2026 CSV Women's Volleyball South American Championship in Rio de Janeiro.
Brazil won the championship, with Argentina taking silver and Colombia earning the bronze medal.
Remaining 2027 World Cup Qualification Spots
There are still 14 places available for the 2027 FIVB Women's Volleyball World Cup.
The remaining berths will be awarded according to the FIVB Women's World Ranking to teams that have not already qualified.
The final qualification process will complete the 32-team field for the tournament.
