Full List 11 PGA Tour Players Making FedEx Cup Playoff Debuts in 2026




Eleven PGA Tour players will make their first career appearance in the FedEx Cup Playoffs this year. The postseason begins this week at the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis, Tennessee (August 13–16 at TPC Southwind).Only the top 70 players in the FedEx Cup standings after the regular season advance to the first playoff event.

The field is then cut to the top 50 for the BMW Championship in St. Louis, with the top 30 advancing to the Tour Championship at East Lake in Atlanta.All 11 newcomers are guaranteed at least one week of playoff golf.

The most notable newcomer is 21-year-old Jackson Koivun. The former Auburn star turned professional earlier this summer and needed just a handful of starts to reach the playoffs. He secured the 70th and final spot with a T-29 finish at the Wyndham Championship, the regular-season finale.Koivun’s rapid rise includes a victory at the 3M Open, making him one of the most impressive late-season stories of 2026.These 11 players now have the chance to climb the standings this week in Memphis and keep their postseason runs alive.
