WNBA Signs Historic Canadian Media Rights Deal with Bell Media & TSN for Toronto Tempo
The Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) has reached a landmark multiyear media rights agreement with Bell Media, making TSN, CTV, and Crave the official Canadian broadcast partners of the league starting with the 2026 season.Under the deal, Bell Media becomes the official media partner of the Toronto Tempo, Canada’s first WNBA franchise.
TSN will serve as the primary broadcaster, airing a comprehensive schedule that includes Toronto Tempo games, additional regular-season matchups, and major league events such as the WNBA All-Star Game, Playoffs, Finals, and Draft.
Select Toronto Tempo games will also be simulcast on CTV and stream on Crave.
Main Agreement Highlights

Growing Popularity in Canada
The WNBA has seen strong growth in Canada in recent years:Viewership of the 2026 WNBA Draft on TSN increased 172% compared to 2025.
The league successfully hosted sold-out preseason games in Toronto (2023) and Edmonton (2024).
Vancouver hosted the first regular-season WNBA game outside the United States in 2025.
The Toronto Tempo will tip off their inaugural season on Friday, May 8, 2026.
