Who won the 2026 Preakness Stakes, Full Results, Winner, Payouts, Finishing Order

Napoleon Solo wins the Preakness Stakes 2026? Full Results, Winner, Complete Payout and Order of finish.

Napoleon Solo won the Preakness Stakes in a thrilling race at Laurel Park on Saturday, May 16.

It was the first Triple Crown win for jockey Paco Lopez and trainer Chad Summers. Napoleon Solo, who is 3 years old, has had an up-and-down career and receiving the Black-Eyed Susan blanket was extra rewarding for the team.

Owner Al Gold purchased Napoleon Solo in 2024 for $40,000 at Summers' request. He expressed pride in his trainer.

Iron Honor, trained by two-time Preakness champion Chad Brown, finished second. Chip Honcho, who was ridden by Kentucky Derby champion Jose Ortiz amid cockfighting allegations, finished third.

This was the first time in the history of the Preakness Stakes that it was raced at Laurel Park in Laurel, Maryland. Pimlico Race Course is under construction for renovations.
