NCAA Softball Tournament 2026 automatic bids, Live Tracker: Schedule, Winner Results for conference championships games

The long wait for the NCAA Softball Tournament is almost over.

The only thing in the way of a 64-team bracket for the Women's College World Series is the completion of conference tournaments, which are currently being finished across the country on Saturday, May 9.

The NCAA Softball Tournament bracket will be unveiled in its entirety at 7 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 10, a day after 31 teams will be awarded an automatic bid by way of winning their respective conference tournaments. Saint Mary's was the first automatic qualifier out of the West Coast Conference after the Gaels won the regular-season championship.

All four of the major conference tournaments — SEC, Big 12, Big Ten and ACC — will play their conference championship games on Saturday, May 9.
