2026 NCAA Men's Golf Championship: TV Schedule, How To Watch Tickets Details

Updated May 28, 2026The 2026 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship begins this week at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa’s North Course in Carlsbad, California. Thirty teams and six individuals will compete for the national title, with defending champion Oklahoma State looking to repeat.

2026 NCAA Men's Golf Championship Format

The tournament features four rounds of stroke play from Friday through Monday to determine the 72-hole individual champion and the top eight teams. Those eight teams then advance to match play:Quarterfinals & Semifinals: Tuesday, June 2  

Championship Match: Wednesday, June 3

Omni La Costa North Course Information

The North Course plays as a par-72 layout at 6,330 yards for the championship. Following a major renovation by architects Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner, the course features several dramatic changes, including:

A new drivable par-4 11th hole  

A repositioned par-3 16th green (inspired by Augusta National’s 12th)  

A significantly lengthened par-5 18th hole (over 600 yards) with water on both sides

This marks the third year the NCAA Championships are being held at Omni La Costa.Oklahoma State enters as the defending team champion, while former Ole Miss star Michael La Sasso is the defending individual champion.
