Kelowna, British Columbia — The Kitchener Rangers earned a spot in the Memorial Cup final with a gritty 3-2 victory over the Chicoutimi Sagueneens on Tuesday night at Prospera Place.
Jack Pridham and Dylan Edwards each recorded a goal and an assist to lead the Ontario Hockey League champions. Luca Romano also found the net for Kitchener, while goaltender Christian Kirsch made 26 saves in the win.For the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League champion Chicoutimi, Emile Ricard and Mavrick Lachance scored, and Lucas Beckman stopped 15 shots in a losing effort.
