Inter Milan Clinch 2025-26 Serie A Title 2-0 Victory Over Parma For 21st Time

Inter Milan Clinch 21st Serie A Title 2025-26 with 2-0 Victory Over Parma

Inter Milan are the 2025-26 Serie A champions.

The Nerazzurri officially secured their 21st league title on Monday, May 4, 2026, after defeating Parma 2-0. The win put them 12 points clear of second-placed Napoli with only three matches remaining, making it mathematically impossible for their rivals to catch them.

This marks Inter’s return to the top of Italian football after narrowly missing out on the Scudetto last season, when they lost the title to Napoli by a single point. It is also their third league title in six seasons, following previous triumphs in 2020/21 and 2023/24.

A Dominant Domestic Campaign

Inter have been far more clinical and consistent this season in Serie A. With three games still to play, they sit on 82 points (26 wins, 4 draws, 5 losses) and have scored an impressive 82 goals — 23 more than second-highest scoring team Como.Lautaro Martínez and Marcus Thuram have once again formed one of the most potent strike partnerships in Europe, leading the goal-scoring charts for Simone Inzaghi’s side.

Recent Struggles in Europe

While Inter have reclaimed domestic supremacy, the season has not been without disappointment. The club suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat in last year’s Champions League final and were surprisingly eliminated in the group stage this season by Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt.Nevertheless, the focus now shifts entirely to celebrating a well-deserved Scudetto.

Historic Context

With this victory, Inter move to 21 league titles, still trailing record holders Juventus (36 titles). Juventus, who last won the Scudetto in 2019/20, are currently battling to finish in the top four to secure Champions League football for next season.

Congratulations to Inter Milan — the 2025-26 Serie A champions!
