Who won the 2026 Australian Open Women's Singles Final title?

Elena Rybakina inflicted further Grand Slam final heartbreak on world number one Aryna Sabalenka with a dramatic third-set fightback to win her first Australian Open title.

Kazakh fifth seed Rybakina was 3-0 down in the final set, with Sabalenka looking set for a fifth major singles trophy.

However, Rybakina won five successive games before completing a 6-4 4-6 6-4 victory to avenge her loss to two-time winner Sabalenka in the 2023 final.

This was US Open champion Sabalenka's third defeat in her past four major finals, following disappointing losses in last year's Australian Open and French Open showpieces.

The 26-year-old Rybakina then maintained her composure superbly to serve out the match with an ace and claim her second major trophy following her 2022 Wimbledon triumph.

Who won the 2026 Australian Open Men's Singles Final title?

Carlos Alcaraz won the 2026 Australian Open Men's Singles title.

The World No. 1 from Spain defeated Novak Djokovic (SRB, 4th seed) in the final at Rod Laver Arena on February 1, 2026, with the score 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, 7-5.

This victory marked Alcaraz's maiden Australian Open crown, his seventh Grand Slam title overall, and completed his career Grand Slam (winning all four majors: AO, French Open, Wimbledon, US Open) at age 22, making him the youngest man in the Open Era to achieve the feat.

Djokovic, the 10-time AO champion, lost his first Australian Open final after 10 previous wins, denying him a record 25th major title.

The match lasted 3 hours and 2 minutes, with Alcaraz overcoming a dominant first set from Djokovic through superior baseline play, variety, and resilience in the later sets.
