MLB Playoff : 2025 AL and NL Division Standings, Wild Card Race Heats Up

MLB playoff bracket: 2025 AL and NL Division Standings, Wild Card Race Heats Up

Major League Baseball’s 2025 regular season is headed for a dramatic finish, with just one weekend left to settle playoff berths and division titles. Several spots are locked up, but a few races remain wide open.

The Yankees and Blue Jays have each clinched postseason berths but remain deadlocked for the AL East crown, while the Guardians and Tigers enter the final stretch tied atop the AL Central. Over in the National League, the Mets and Reds are battling for the last wild card spot after the Diamondbacks were eliminated Friday night.

The Cubs and Padres are both in, but this weekend’s results will determine which club hosts their wild card series.
