The 2027 Formula 1 calendar has been confirmed, with a 24-race season spanning 22 countries and five continents.
Following approval by the FIA World Motor Sport Council, Formula 1 and the FIA have released the official 2027 FIA Formula One World Championship schedule.
The season will feature a record 10 Sprint events, while Portugal and Türkiye return to the F1 calendar.
How the 2027 F1 Season Unfolds
Pre-season testing will take place in Bahrain from February 24-27, before the championship begins at the Bahrain Grand Prix from March 12-14.
The opening stretch then moves to Saudi Arabia, Australia, Japan and China, followed by the Miami and Canadian Grands Prix.
The European portion of the calendar includes the iconic Monaco Grand Prix, followed by Formula 1's return to Portugal in June. The race will take place at the Algarve circuit near Portimão.
Türkiye returns in October, with Istanbul Park scheduled between the Azerbaijan and Singapore Grands Prix.
The final part of the season features races in Austin, Mexico City, São Paulo and Las Vegas, before back-to-back finales in Qatar and Abu Dhabi in December.

2027 F1 Sprint Calendar
Formula 1 will stage a record 10 Sprint weekends in 2027, increasing from six in previous seasons.
According to Formula 1, Sprint weekends have recorded stronger audience engagement than traditional race weekends. Total viewership for Sprint weekends is reported to be 12% higher, while Sprint Qualifying can be up to three times more popular with fans than Free Practice.
Formula 1 also reports that 82% of attendees at Sprint weekends believe the format adds value to their ticket, while 75% of F1 fans believe Sprint events add greater value to the season's calendar.

Portugal: Portimão returns to the championship in June as Round 9, following the Monaco Grand Prix.
