Texas A&M Sweeps Kentucky to Claim First NCAA Volleyball National Championship

The Texas A&M Aggies (28-4) captured their first-ever NCAA Division I women's volleyball national title on Sunday, December 21, 2025, with a decisive 3-0 sweep over No. 1 Kentucky (29-2) at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Texas A&M became the first team in NCAA history to defeat three No. 1 seeds in the same tournament en route to a title, knocking off Nebraska (in a five-set thriller on Dec. 14), Pitt, and now Kentucky."This is surreal," said Aggies head coach Jamie Morrison. "We won the national championship, they are handing out T-shirts behind me, and I am still trying to take it all in."
