2024 Georgia Bulldogs schedule: scores, Full games dates, results of every match after CFP bye: College Football Playoff.
Georgia football is back on top of the Southeastern Conference and among the four teams with a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff.
The Bulldogs defeated Texas in the SEC championship game on Dec. 7 in overtime to clinch the conference title, and their second in three years. However, Kirby Smart and his team have higher aspirations, with a third national championship in four years as the primary goal.
As a result of winning the conference championship, the 11-2 Bulldogs earned the No. 2 overall seed in the College Football Playoff bracket and a first-round bye. Georgia will play the winner of Notre Dame and Indiana, the Nos. 7 and 10 seeds in the 12-team bracket, respectively, in the CFP quarterfinal on New Year's Day.
