The 15th edition of the Big Bash League kicks off on Sunday, December 14 when the Perth Scorchers take on the Sydney Sixers in a blockbuster clash.
The BBL15 season opener kicks of at 4.15pm AEDT at Perth Stadium in Perth.
In BBL15, each of the eight teams will play 10 matches across a 40-game regular season, meaning they’ll face three other clubs twice, which will include two blockbuster Melbourne and Sydney derbies.
The home-and-away season will conclude on January 18 when the Brisbane Heat v Sydney Sixers at the MCG before a four-team finals series gets underway two days later.
The first and second-placed teams get a double chance and will play off for a spot in the decider on January 21.
Meanwhile, the loser of that match will play the winner of 3 v 4 for the other spot in the BBL15 Final, which will be held on January 25.
