NBA HBCU Classic 2025: Teams, Start-Time, How to Watch, TV Channel, tickets, winners .

As part of the 2025 NBA All-Star Festivities, the Morehouse College Athletics Maroon Tigers and Tuskegee University Golden Tigers faced off Saturday in the fourth annual NBA HBCU Classic presented by AT&T at Oakland Arena in Oakland, Calif.

Tuskegee was able to hang on in the end, defeating Morehouse 68-55. Tuskegee’s Kusamae Draper led the Golden Tigers with 22 points, while Kevin Sesberry and D’Anthony Pennington added 19 and 16 points, respectively.

Both schools were selected for their rich traditions, on-court rivalry and commitment to excellence. The NBA continues to show its support to HBCU schools with awareness for its athletics and educational opportunities.

Harold Ellis, Morehouse Director of Athletics, told the TNT broadcast that this was the largest basketball game in Morehouse College history, and a huge opportunity for the players with NBA scouts in attendance as well.

The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) matchup will take place on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025, at Oakland Arena. The fourth NBA HBCU Classic will broadcast on ESPN+, NBA TV and TruTV as a part of NBA All-Star 2025.

— The NBA today announced that the Morehouse College and Tuskegee University men’s basketball programs have been selected to compete in the 2025 NBA HBCU Classic presented by AT&T as part of NBA All-Star 2025 in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The teams were selected in collaboration with the CIAA. The 2025 NBA HBCU Classic presented by AT&T continues the league’s ongoing, year-round commitment to advancing educational, career and economic opportunities in partnership with HBCU institutions as well as increasing support and awareness for HBCU athletics.
