2025 Genesis Invitational purse, prize money: Payout for golfers, winner's share from $20 million pool
The PGA Tour returns to Los Angeles this week with Tiger Woods hosting the Genesis Invitational - the third of eight Signature Events this season, limited-field events offering increased purses and 700 FedExCup points for the winner.
Another $20m purse is offered at the 2025 Genesis Invitational with Torrey Pines’s winner set for a $4m payday.
The third Signature event of the 2025 PGA Tour season moves 125 miles south from its spiritual home at Riviera Country Club to Torrey Pines in San Diego following the devastating wildfires that ravaged large areas of Los Angeles in January.
Tournament host Tiger Woods was initially listed in the field before withdrawing on Monday after revealing he is “still processing the loss” of his mother, Kultida, who passed last week.
WINNER: The Swede, Ludvig Aberg picked up his second PGA Tour victory at the 2025 Genesis Invitational with a stellar final-round 66. He topped Maverick McNealy by one shot at Torrey Pines' South Course, which hosted Tiger Woods' event this year.
With the victory, Aberg is lining his pockets with a $4 million payday. McNealy isn't going home empty handed, either, as he pocketed $2.2 million.
