2026 Daytona 500 Starting Lineups: Full Field, Drivers Grid for Sunday Race

2026 Daytona 500 starting Lineups, drivers grid, full starting positions set for 68th Great America Race after Duels races.

— We know most of the NASCAR drivers who will appear in the 2026 Daytona 500 lineup.

Kyle Busch earned his first Daytona 500 pole in his 21st attempt in the Super Bowl of stock car racing Wednesday night. The Richard Childress Racing driver earned the top spot in qualifying by just 0.016 seconds over Joe Gibbs Racing's Chase Briscoe.

Busch had the fastest time of qualifying overall in his first run with a 48.933. He was the only driver to break 49 seconds at all during qualifying; his eventual pole lap came in at a 49.006.

Busch will lead the field on Sunday. The two-time champion has never won the Daytona 500 and could add that feat to his storied Cup Series career. First, he led Duel 1 Thursday night to set the grid for the inside lane order for the Daytona 500.

NASCAR Cup Series drivers put on a show in two decidedly different races in Thursday night's Duel at Daytona, with Joey Logano and Chase Elliott taking the Duels trophies when the night ended.

The Duel, which divides drivers among two 60-lap, 150-mile races, determined the full starting lineup for the 68th annual Daytona 500.

We now know who's in and who's out, and among the in-crowd, we know where they'll line up Sunday to start the 68th Daytona 500.

Thursday night's 150-mile Duels settled things among those without automatic entry. Four drivers and their teams loaded the haulers for the lonely ride home from Daytona International Speedway.

On the other hand, 41 drivers, cars and teams remain for the Great American Race, which can either make a new legend or cement one.

Here's how they'll line up for the first of at least 200 laps Sunday afternoon.

All of the racers below will be racing to add their name to the Harley J. Earl Trophy.
