2026 MLB Playoff Schedule: Dates, TV channels for ALDS, NLDS with matchups set, start-times
Major League Baseball released its full 2026 postseason schedule on Monday, August 10. The playoffs will begin with a wild-card quadrupleheader on Tuesday, September 29, and the World Series is set to start on Friday, October 23, with a potential Game 7 falling on Halloween night (October 31).
The Fall Classic will be televised exclusively on Fox and will open at the home ballpark of the team with the better regular-season record.
