The British Open Golf Championship 2025 Field, Full List of Players for Royal Portrush event.



The field for the final men's major of the year is just a few weeks away.

The 153rd Open Championship will be held at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland, July 17-20.

The Open Championship branding at the 18th green during the final round of the 148th Open Championship Royal Portrush Golf Club.

There are 116 golfers in the field. There will be 156 when the golf balls start flying in the first round.


The field will be filled out after final qualifying on Tuesday, July 2 at four locations around the UK. There will also be three spots from the Genesis Scottish Open, the PGA Tour stop the week before the British Open.
