A total of 732 clubs will enter the Emirates FA Cup for the 2023-24 season, which will kick-off on Saturday 5 August with the extra preliminary round. as compared to 729 English clubs entered the 2021-22 season, the 150th edition of the competition’s history.

As a result of the recent restructuring of the FA National League System (NLS), the maximum number of clubs that can be accepted to participate in the competition in its current format is 732.

The total prize fund has been the same for current year as the worth £3 Million total over £19m in previous 2022-23 FA Cup competitions

While the total prize fund was remain the same at £16 million for two Seasons 2020-22.

There will be payments to clubs and made to the team winners and losers at all stages of the qualifying rounds, but payments will only be made to the winners from the first round proper through to the quarter-final.
