Oregon outlasts Arizona 5-4 to win 2023 Pac-12 Baseball Tournament Championship, Schedule Scores, Past winners.

At Scottsdale Stadium on Saturday night, the 2023 Pac-12 Baseball Tournament came to a thrilling conclusion as 6-seed Oregon defeated 8-seed Arizona 5-4 to win the championship in the second year of the competition.

The Ducks and Wildcats traded offensive blows in front of a crowd of just over 4,000 at the San Francisco Giants' Spring Training facility, but Oregon's relievers shut down the conference's top offence to secure the one-run victory.

Arizona will find out its fate when the 64-team bracket is revealed on Monday morning, while the Ducks have already secured the Pac-12's automatic seed to the 2018 NCAA Tournament.

After the Wildcats struck first in the top of the third inning on a Nik McClaughry RBI single, Oregon matched that, tying the score at one on a Colby Shade single that scored Rikuu Nishida.

The Ducks took the lead with two runs in the bottom half of the fourth, but the Wildcats climbed back into it, scoring one in the top of the fifth and one in the top of the six to even the game at three apiece.

Stanford won the inaugural Pac-12 baseball tournament in 2022 as the No. 1 seed, defeating No. 2 seed Oregon State 9-5 in the championship game. The Cardinal outscored their opponents 35-20 in their four games.
