NCAA softball fans got plenty to talk about after the committee awarded Alabama Crimson Tide softball the No. 1 overall seed, edging out both Texas Longhorns softball and Oklahoma Sooners softball — even after Alabama fell to Texas in the SEC Tournament championship game on Saturday.
