Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel Headline 2025-26 NBA All-Rookie Team
The NBA has officially announced its 2025-26 All-Rookie Team, with Dallas Mavericks forward Cooper Flagg earning Rookie of the Year honors.
Flagg and his former Duke teammate Kon Knueppel led a strong class of first-year players who made an immediate impact during the 2025-26 season.
The All-Rookie teams highlight the top 10 rookies, split into First and Second Teams.
2025-26 NBA All-Rookie First Team
Cooper Flagg – Dallas Mavericks
Kon Knueppel – Charlotte Hornets
VJ Edgecombe – Philadelphia 76ers
Dylan Harper – San Antonio Spurs
Cedric Coward – Memphis Grizzlies
Flagg and Knueppel, both former Duke stars, anchored the First Team alongside three other standout rookies. Flagg, Edgecombe, and Knueppel each received 100 first-place votes.Cooper Flagg was named the 2025-26 Rookie of the Year, narrowly beating out Knueppel for the award. In 70 games, the Mavericks forward averaged:
21.0 points per game (led all rookies)
6.7 rebounds per game (4th among rookies)
4.5 assists per game (2nd among rookies)
He shot 46.8% from the field while playing a key role for a competitive Dallas team.

Maxime Raynaud stood out as one of the biggest surprises of the rookie class. Selected 42nd overall in the 2025 NBA Draft, the French big man was the only non-lottery pick named to either All-Rookie Team. He led all rookies in double-doubles and tied for first in rebounds per game.This rookie class delivered impressive talent across multiple positions, with several players already showing star potential in their first NBA season.
