The 2025 Masters was poised for an electric finish Sunday as a loaded leaderboard entered the final round with all eyes focused on the green jacket. A record $4.2 million will be awarded to the 2025 champion, McIlroy, an increase of $600,000 from what Scottie Scheffler earned when he captured his second green jacket in 2024.
LAST YEAR: Scottie Scheffler won for the second time in three years, finishing Sunday with a four-round score of -11, four strokes ahead of Ludvig Åberg, who was competing in his first Masters.
The winner’s share for this year’s tournament is 4.2 for 2025 champion increased from $3.6 million in 2024, up from the $3.24 million Jon Rahm took home for winning 2023 Masters. The year prior, Scheffler banked $2.7 million in 2022.
