When does the 2025 Six Nations starts? 


The 2026 Six Nations Championship starts on Thursday, 5 February 2026, with France hosting Ireland at the Stade de France in Paris.

Prices for the Six Nations 2025 tickets start at £40 each and go up to £130 per person. The tickets for the first round between Wales and Ireland are costing £40, £80, £105, £110 and £120, while the third round tickets between England and Wales cost between £40 and £130.

The matches are divided between BBC and ITV, and this is great news both are free to watch. The TV channels that the Six Nations will be available on is BBC One, BBC Two and ITV One.

BUT - The long-term future of the Six Nations on free-to-air TV is uncertain after the government rejected calls to add the tournament to the list of sporting events that must be shown for free. 


It is expected that the BBC will also provide a weekly highlights program every Sunday evening throughout the tournament.
