2026 MotoGP Grid: Full List of Riders & Teams LineUps

MotoGP 2026 Grid: Complete rider grid and teams line-ups confirmed.

The 2026 MotoGP campaign is starting to take shape as all but one of the rides have been announced with the season opener also being confirmed.

The 78th season of the motorcycle world championship gets underway this weekend with the Thailand Grand Prix in Buriram, with 20 of last year’s 22 riders and 21 of the 22 Grands Prix from last season set to go around again until the campaign wraps in Valencia in late November.

Of the aforementioned 22 riders, just four – Honda pair Johann Zarco and Diogo Moreira, Aprilia’s Marco Bezzecchi and Yamaha’s Toprak Razgatlioglu – so far have contracts that span this year and next. It’s a volatile mix of riders looking to take a leap of faith with an employer who can offer them the best chance to win on bikes that haven’t yet turned a wheel, and manufacturers trying to race one another and the clock to lock in the riders they feel could be difference-makers as MotoGP resets.

All places have been reserved for the 2026 season as of the Aragon Grand Prix.

Which Riders are on the MotoGP 2026 Grid?

The 2026 MotoGP grid features complete stability among the 20 returning riders, with none changing teams from last season as the championship approaches the major 850cc regulation shift in 2027.

The only new additions are two rookies with very different backgrounds. Diogo Moreira joins LCR Honda as the reigning Moto2 champion, becoming the first Brazilian in MotoGP since Alex Barros retired in 2007.

Meanwhile, three-time World Superbike champion Toprak Razgatlioglu makes his long-awaited MotoGP debut with Pramac Yamaha, where he will partner Jack Miller.

Miller remains with Yamaha not only for performance but also for his experience and technical role in developing the manufacturer’s future V4 project.

While the grid appears settled for now, significant rider movement is expected once contract decisions begin ahead of the new era.

Here is the complete 2026 riders line-up so far:

Which Teams are Lining-up on the MotoGP 2026 Grid?

The same 11 teams return to the MotoGP grid in 2026, but their competitive outlook has shifted despite Ducati extending its rider title streak through Marc Marquez.

Aprilia emerged as the second-strongest factory last season, with Marco Bezzecchi stepping up during Jorge Martin’s injury absence, while Honda claimed its only win through Johann Zarco’s emotional home victory in France.

Raul Fernandez’s surprise Australian Grand Prix triumph at Phillip Island ensured all 11 teams now own at least one premier-class win.

Meanwhile, KTM’s Tech3 squad enters a new chapter, with former Haas F1 boss Guenther Steiner taking over ownership from long-time founder Herve Poncharal.
