Mark Selby defeated Judd Trump 10-8 in a thrilling final at the Barbican Centre in York to win the 2025 UK Championship, his third UK title overall and 10th Triple Crown event.
Selby had a dominant start, racing into a 5-0 lead, which was later narrowed to 6-2 after the afternoon session. Trump mounted a strong comeback in the evening session, at one point closing the gap to 8-7 and then 9-8, but Selby held his nerve to secure the final frame with a composed break.
Prize Money: Selby took home the winner's cheque of £250,000, while Trump received £100,000 as the runner-up
