The Sri Lankan captain won the toss and asked the Afghan side to bat first in the first Super 4 stage game that was played in Sharjah.
The Afghan side, who batted first, smashed 175 runs in the 20 overs while losing 6 wickets.
Due to Exceptional performance from Afghan hard-hitter Rehmanullah Gurbaz scores 84 off 40 balls while the Ibrahim Zadran scored 40 runs for Afghanistan, in addition to Najibullah Zadran's 17 runs and Hazratullah Zazai's 13 runs lead to 175 totals.
For Sri Lanka, Dilshan Madhu Shanaka dismissed two players.
