Asia Cup 2022: India easily defeated Afghanistan by 101 runs in their most recent match in the Super Four round of the ongoing Asia Cup T20 tournament in the United Arab Emirates.





India: 212/2 - 20 overs (Virat Kohli 122 not out, KL Rahul 62; Fareed Ahmed 2/57).
Afghanistan: 111/8 - 20 overs (Ibrahim Zadran 64 not out; Bhuvneshwar Kumar 5/4).

India won by 101 runs.

Asia Cup 2022: The Afghanistan squad achieved 111 runs for 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs to successfully chase down India's 213-run goal. Rashid Khan scored 15 runs, Mujeebur Rahman scored 18, while Ibrahim Zadran scored 64 runs.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, bowling for India, performed superbly, removing 5 batsmen for only 4 runs in 4 overs.



Afghanistan captain Mohammad Nabi won the toss and invited India to bat.



India scored 212 for the loss of 2 wickets in the allotted 20 overs, Virat Kohli scored a magnificent 122 not out. This is Kohli's 71st career century and first Twenty International century.
