2025 WNBA All-Star Game MVP: Minnesota' Napheesa Collier earns honor after setting new 3-pointer record, Past Winners





Team Collier defeated Team Clark 151-131 on Saturday in Indianapolis, taking a double-digit lead in the first quarter and never looking back in a game that featured the usual level of defemse we see in All-Star Games. Collier, the current MVP favorite, posted an All-Star Game record 36 points on 13-of-16 shooting, plus nine rebounds.

The effort earned her All-Star MVP honors and a bonus of $5,150.

She officially broke the record on a 3-pointer with an assist from Seattle Storm star Skylar Diggins, who set her own All-Star record with her 12th assist on the same play.



Ogunbowale joined Lisa Leslie (1999, 2001, 2022), Swin Cash (2009, 2011) and Maya Moore (2015, 2017, 2018) as the only WNBA stars to win multiple All-Star MVP awards. Ogunbowale was the All-Star MVP in 2021. 




Last Year Winner 2024: Team WNBA handed Team USA a 117-109 loss in front of a sold-out crowd at Footprint Center in the WNBA All-Star game.

Team WNBA’s Arike Ogunbowale, who set a record for the most points scored in a WNBA All-Star game and earned her second MVP nod.

  • Two Basketball Ladies, Sparks' Lisa Leslie and Lynx's Maya Moore has won the most WNBA MVP's awards, each three times.

The Los Angeles Sparks star Lisa Leslie was named MVP at the WNBA’s first All-Star Game in 1999, and two more MVP honors in 2001 and 2002.

The Minnesota Lynx, forward Maya Moore is the other player who won the three All-Star Game MVPs awards. She won three straight awards, in 2015, 2017 and 2018. While there wasn’t an All-Star Game in 2016.
